Description
Mother Mother is the first piece taken from a series of compositions exploring the themes of displacement and migration.
After my father's death, I went to visit my mother and recorded her state during the days surrounding my father's funeral using two 100-foot rolls of 16mm film. The sound was recorded in Shanghai by sound artist Xu Cheng. The footage also serves as a prelude to a future feature-length film.
Mother (2024) 父亲去世后，我去看望母亲， 并用两卷100尺16mm的胶片拍下，母亲在父亲葬礼前后的几天的状态。声音部分由居住在上海的声音艺术家徐程在上海录制完成。 片段也成为未来长片的一个序。
